About This Program

This Program serves as a refresher on cultural competency for Public Health Service officers in the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps (USPHS Commissioned Corps) preparing for deployment. In Module 2, Effective communication, you will review best practices for communicating effectively when navigating language and cultural barriers.

In Module 3, On the ground services, you will review how to adapt the services you provide to meet diverse cultural and linguistic needs.
